Can you imagine how crystal-clear brewing water, Upper Swabian barley malt and Tettnang hops come together to make the popular Leibinger beers?
The tradition of brewing beer on the so-called “Bierbuckel” hill in Ravensburg is even older than the history of the Max Leibinger Brewery itself. A brewery was first founded here as far back as 1862.
Under the direction of Michael Leibinger, the fourth generation of Leibingers brews beer for its homeland with great passion and dedication. In doing so, the local brewery uses only carefully selected regional ingredients. Blending the brewery’s own well water, its own pure yeast, malt from Upper Swabian farmers and the finest aroma hops from Tettnang, the Leibinger beer specialities are of the highest quality. The product range includes 15 refreshing specialities that are brown, pale, naturally cloudy, alcohol-free or shandies – there is something to suit every taste!
With a brewery tour (the guided tour lasts about 90 minutes), the Leibinger master brewers show you how they create their beer specialities. From the brewhouse via the fermentation tanks and filter cellar to the filling room, you will learn all the secrets of the brewing trade - there is so much to see, experience and taste. The tour is brought to a close over a glass of beer.
You can also visit the Leibinger Bräustüble tavern on the brewery complex. Popular hearty classics of Swabian cuisine and fresh draught beer specialities are served here.
Due to the current corona pandemic, we recommend that you enquire about current hygiene measures and dates here before your visit.
